Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

We have collaborated and formed partnerships with leading specialised disability accommodation (SDA) developers across the nation to enable us to occupy and deliver Supported Independent Living (SIL) to participants residing in these properties.

The SDA homes are designed and built to ensure safety, develop and maintain independence and include excellent amenities.

What is SDA?

NDIS define Specialist Disability Accommodation(SDA) as “accommodation for people who require specialist housing solutions, including to assist with the delivery of supports that cater for their extreme functional impairment or very high support needs”.

SDA Design Categories

There are four types of homes available with SDA funding, depending on the participants support needs. These are known as Design Categories, and include housing that are:

High Physical Support

Designed to incorporate a high level of physical access provision for people with significant physical impairment and requiring very high levels of support.

Improved Liveability (Silver)

Designed to improve 'Liveability' by incorporating a reasonable level of physical access and enhanced provision for people with intellectual or cognitive impairment.

Robust

Designed with a reasonable level of physical access provision and to be very resilient.

Fully Accessible (Platinum)

Designed to incorporate a high level of physical access provision for people with significant physical impairment.
